So i started working on my horseshoe shaped platform
This is bring a pain in the nikta because of the Size i went with 3mm mdf and Will put support Beams in clear acrylic under it because of the weight
It doesn't look like much yet but at least i have finnaly started it :-D
Here are Some pics of Some other lasercutting i did was testing Some designs

1/260 Stargate SG1 X303 Prometheus update 12/09/2014 Big Update comming
This update is for showing the work i have done on my stand i Engraved 2 sides of the stand and cut the 2 others those 2 have each 2 led strips lighting them Will Add An other soon for the SGC logo keep in Mind on Some pieces there is still plastic on the plates are normally black and promie underside still is being made for now it lays flat on the stand later on it Will sit higher and Will have several support Pilars
But for now it Will sit on the stand i'm connecting the nose and mainbody in the next 2 weeks make the the foundation for the front landinggear and lover hangarbay landinggear won't get ready before the FACTS convention i'm Attending and because of 3D printer issues the hangar bay won't be printed yet on the pictures i only added the back hangar bay the piece where the detail hangar is in is not shown on the pictures

So for now enjoy the pictures and ill let you know when there is more to show

Okey! next Update ,alot has happened since the last update i have scratched my previous Build body since i felt it was strong enough.
I designed a new version wich i could cut with the CNC (a big one 2.44mx1.22m) So i was able to have the body sides cut in one go instead o several smaller pieces
Pics at end of the post .
I bought a screenused acrylic panel of the set wich i could use for references and Found several production used files through alot of friends i made here on the board.
so here are couple rough pics of my new version some parts are glued but not all enjoy!

so a small update i have been playing with lights for the hangar bay through fiber i don't have any pictures yet but ill be getting my hangar file altered so i don't have to drill any holes for the fiber optics Will look awesome when its ready
Next up is figuring out how make the horseshoe wing accurate but light ( don't want it crushing everything else)
