Dredd 95 helmet visor solution?

Hey all, does anyone know of a good solution for a replacement visor? I bought a standard motorcycle helmet visor, though the curvature just wasn't enough. I was thinking the flip up bubble visors might be a better choice. Also vac-forming sounds like the best option though the plastic seems a bit flimsy. Anyway, would be interested in hearing anyone elses thoughts/solutions for this, or if they have made a custom one themselves?

In the helmets it was a motorcycle visor..cut to fit and heated to curve to fit..
It is actually two different visors..one clear with the frosted ends to show below the tinted one.

I used a welding shield/visor. It's thick but works great

I used thin velcro to hold it in, so I could replace it if needed

I picked up some helicopter pilot visors, they have a nice round shape that fits better than the motorcycle. any idea what the best way to heat them for shaping? boiling water?
