So, this is my finished leather belt gear which is made to look sewn but mostly has no stitching involved. The exceptions are the bottom flap of the flash bang pouch at the corners...pretty simple, and the inside elastic med instrument holders, which anyone could do , by hand if need be. All pieces used are leather and plastic mostly. I omitted the brass top hinge on the med kit but did include the bottom flap hinge. everything was assembled with contact cement and high flex cyroacrylate glue (super glue). The faux stitching was indicated with embossing of the leather.

Thanks Gents. It was fun, challenging and the best part was I didn't have to lay out a ton of cash. I am working on the med kit instruments to go inside. Unfortunately, because there are no clear photos of individual contents, except the screen caps, I'm finding myself improvising a lot. My only regret is that it was convenient to use another member's available plans and I suspect some measurements are a bit off. Some I corrected, some, like the flashball pouch, I think is designed for 2" balls. Mine are the more correct 1.75", which makes the pouch about 1/2" too large. Oh well, I'm not fussy enough to redo it. It is what it is.;)
