Pacific Rim: 1:1 Jaeger build (Probably not going to happen any time soon!)

I want to build a 1:1 Jaeger that can walk with someone inside controlling it. Obviously I cant at the moment have a Jaeger built let alone one that works. BUT THIS IS JUST MY DREAM AND SOMETHING I WANT TO DO BEFORE I DIE! Furthermore, obviously I cant get the Jaeger to be controlled by 2 people's minds. So I am thinking that it will be controlled by the movements of one person. With a second person for either a) display or b) To take over in case of the original driver gets tired or is suddenly unable to continue. This means that there hopefully wont be a case where the driver pulls a muscle or something and cant drive anymore and the Jaeger is stuck mid-step and is falling (That would be quite destructive!). So if anyone has any advice on how to do this PLEASE do share! Yes I know this is insane, but hey why not right?
