hello :)/ i have just been reading load of threads on here learning stuff so i thought i'd make a thread to show what i'm doing and maybe get some help along the way. this is my first time making any thing like this and it is very fun :D

doctor doom, using pep/fiberglass method

i will post more as more gets done.
i have also acquired the game model form mvc3 from the interwebs, so i am currently hacking that to fit and work in the real world, i may change it a little but its a good base to start from.

I like the exaggerated features on this helmet :) One day I will have to sit down and begin to understand 3d modelling and pep unfolding etc. Subscribed.
 
Looking good! Makes me want to do a back to my helmet. I should finish the rest of the costume first, then add a back later though!
 
The hood will be attached to my mask so that it can't blow down. I do that with my Death Eater costume and it works out well. Still, I think having the back makes it look much cooler :)
 
a qiuck update, fiber glassed the back, gonna start putting on some filler now

currently thinking about cutting the cheeks out and replacing them with wire mesh and maybe some mech looking bits, not sure though :/
