Hello everyone

I have decided to start a separate build thread for my Poseidon Young kit so it is easier to manage.

First off I would like to say a huge thank you to Simon (Jedimaster) you have helped out a lot with this :)

The main purpose of this build up is to have some fun and experiment so when I start on my Pyro and Salzo kits I will be well prepared.
I have painted the wings using the black undercoat with lots of light white layers on top method and its coming along ok. I will be repainting them in the near future though (Thanks Simon :))

This next group of photos show how I will be wiring up all the electronics and how I will be "hiding" the switch and charging port.

The final group of photos for this update will be showing the LED's and wiring for the cockpit and what the engine LED's look like and how R2 even has a couple of LED's of his own :)

The final part of this update will be about my engine configuration as I looked into purchasing a lighting kit specifically made for SS X-Wing kits, I found they were a bit pricey not saying they are not worth it, but if you cannot afford it or like doing things yourself like my dad and I then this is a pretty clever idea my dad came up with, not sure if it has been mentioned on this forum before but what we did was we bought a bunch of cheapo led candles off eBay we gutted them and pulled them apart and took all the circuit boards out of them, we then wired the engine LED's into them and it provides a very subtle pulse to the engines and looks really nice, so I decided to make a couple of videos about it and attach it to this update, I tried my best to capture it on film though it does look much better in person this is just to give you all an idea of how it works and what it could look like on your model :).

If possible max out the quality and make the video full screen as its hard to see the effect on camera :)

Thanks for looking :)
