Here is a 1/270 scale CR-90 I built to use in the X Wing Miniatures Game by Fantasy Flight
and a 1/270 scale Nebulon-B is my next project.

Wow, that's terrific! Is it a total scratchbuild?
I have several of the miniatures just as little display pieces, and I did a full repaint on the Falcon.
They're really nice pieces.

That Nebulon is gonna be a monster! :)

Thanks!
For the CR-90 I used a paper model scaled up to 1/270 scale as a template for the core shape. I then cut out the template and glued it to sheet styrene with Elmer’s rubber cement so I could peel off the paper from the styrene after all the parts where cut out. Next I modified the core shape to get the look I wanted. Then I applied the individual plating, piping and greeble.

I’m starting with the main engine housing. I have four bulkheads that will be tied together with joist. You can see the notches I cut out along the outer edge of the bulkheads for the joist. The core of the 7 engines will be made from 1” PVC conduit. The hole in the center of the three bulkheads is for a 1¼” dowel rod that will serve as the core for the spline of the ship. The short bulkhead (No # 1) is the one that will be the last one on the back end of the ship. The bottom engine is partially exposed and sits below this last bulkhead and attaches to bulkhead (No #2) with the top row of engines. These top engines pass through the holes in bulkhead No #1. The two middle engines are also partially exposed at the sides and will then attach to bulkhead No #3 and pass through bulkheads No #2 and 1. Bulkhead No #4 will be the on closest to the front of the ship.

Cool! Do you mind if I ask the source of the paper CR-90?
I saw recently that Fantasy Flight is putting out some new miniatures, including a Lambda shuttle.

Sweet corvette. Looking forward to the Nebulon-b. Then you should put them all in a break off the assault/Death Star 2 Battle diorama with the falcon and the fighters in the front breaking hard left and hard right.
