Hello fellow Comic book enthusiasts! For a while I've been lurking and even started a thread on a Foam armor. This was discontinued due to some family stuff, but we're fine now. Aaaaaaanyways, I came here to start at Build Thread for my armor, and my materials are on the way. Before I start, I have a few questions regarding some details I've noticed while practicing (and failing) on scrap cardboard.
1. I have ugly seams that have oozing hot glue and that just look like crap, but maintain the overall shape. My question is, will these blemishes go away with the body filler?
(I know you can't tell, but that there, is the forearm.)
2. How do I prevent that Gundam-looking effect when working with cardboard?
3. About how much weight does the BF add to a suit.
4. I heard that you can avoid the FB sheets by using a mix of rondo, Is this true and how does it compare to the traditional way of first FB and then BF.
5. How do I prevent the cardboard ripples from showing in the finished product?
6. Should I start over on this piece or just fix it with FB and BF?
