Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Let's not over react now. I remember a lot of people saying Keaton would be bad? Heath as the Joker would be bad? Anne Hathaway as Catwoman would be bad?

Let's just wait and see. :)

Anne Hathaway was a terrible catwoman, but then it was a terrible movie where her character felt completely juxtaposed

Man, this thread is getting some action now ;) It sat for awhile with no comments. This must have woke up a lot of people.

So much for Ben Affleck looking at a superhero costume as a source of humiliation and never acting in a comic movie again.

He might surprise us but I just keep remembering how bad Daredevil was. Heck he may be a great "dawk knight" lol

My head hurts. He certainly looks the part though, but its still BEN AFFLECK!!!!!
Why? Why? He's not the older, wiser Bruce Wayne I thought they were going after.

My only real concern is if he can pull off Bruce Wayne without the audience just seeing Ben Affleck...

Let's be honest... Once the cape and cowl are on it does not take much acting to become batman, but can he play the tortured, dark character that has to put on the mask of Bruce Wayne each day.

I don't think Kilmer, Bale and Clooney did... So I hope Ben can pull it off and not just be another campy attempt to gather some money and box office ratings

Affleck might be a good Batman, he's 6'4" which is taller than Cavill's 6'1" and Bale's 6'. Someone has to photoshop a Daredevil into a Batman suit! It'll be interesting to hear his Bat voice haha

I am actually OK with this choice. Since they are going with a little older Batman, he can pull this off. He was good in Hollywoodland as George Reeves and he is a huge comic book fan, so he knows the importance of the character and how he should be played. And to be honest, his portrayal of Dare Devil was actually goo (in my opinion.

MARVEL: We've got a movie coming out that features an alien raccoon who's a high tech weapons specialist who partners up with a walking tree.
DC: Wonder Woman is tricky so we casted Ben Affleck as Batman.

Wow... That sucks. I was really thinking they might take a leap of faith and go with someone a little less gay and mainstream like Jon Hamm. This is very disappointing.

You can bring up all the past successes that were initially expected to fail... but this is a true nogo.

I didn't originally thing RDJ would make a good Iron Man until I saw the first preview.

I'm still not entirely sold on Chris Evans as Cap, mainly when he's wearing the mask/helmet. But also, I still feel like it should have been someone older, with a deeper voice and a little bigger. I always thought Ben Browder would have been awesome.
Evans was better suited in Fantastic Four IMHO.

I always thought Michael Shanks needed to play a comic hero. He has (or at least had) the look for it. He probably would have made a good Green Lantern and have Ryan Reynolds plays Flash. He might be getting too old now though.

I'm also surprised Jason Lewis has the perfect look for a comic book hero. The dude look like someone drawn by Jim Lee.

Regardless.... this is a travesty. Ben Affleck should NOT be Batman.
