It seems i either get stuff that doesn't lay good, smudges or dulls the shininess of my paintjob. I've tried duplicolor, kyrlon and rustoleum sprays. ANybody try duplicolor laquer clear(pepboys has it) that can be put into a sprayer or also Alsa's killercan mirra-clear? Any other suggestions?

Thanks.

Try Future Floor Wax, sold under "Pledge with Future shine". It's an acrylic top coat, which can be run through an airbrush without thinning. It has the consistency of water, so you can put it in a bucket and dunk parts in it, or it can be brushed on, without leaving brush marks.

I've never seen it have any effect on chrome finishes, but like with anything else, try it on a scarp piece first.

Get car stuff, 2k (if you got the gear to spray it) or cellulose.

Its on a car, so its pretty stocky. Never got far with the can stuff, I just go to the paint shop and pick up up in a can. Thin it down, spray.
