Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Scythe

Hello RPFers!

For months I have been working on this Sythe from Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
It's coming along nicely, however I have reached a point where I am not sure how to proceed.
Below is what I've done so far.

My problem now is making the metal spikes like seen below:

I've tried wood dowels, sadly with not much luck. I should try them again.
I also do not have any metal working tools.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Do you mean the bits at the top of the stake that look like fins?

If it was me, I'd make them out of Apoxie. Probably start with a fairly thick copper wire as an armature

Hey CynderBloc...yes the bits right above the stake. When you say Apoxie, do you mean Apoxie Sculpt? If so, I think I can do that...but I am not sure that I can get them perfect. But I guess I can strive to do so. Thanks for the help!

Yeah, I meant Apoxie Sculpt. It is sandable don't forget, so you can get it close and once it's cured, sand it to the exact shape

Do you mind me asking where you got the templates for the Scythe? I've been looking for awhile but I can never find much, I ended up here looking for pepakura files for the scythe, that would be amazing right? :)

Does anyone have the definative measurements of each section of this Scythe. Anyone got a template on the shape of the scythe blade and or fins?
