There was a really funny post back in 2010 when someone asked about "visiting" a hospital in costume.
This post is about dressing up in costume, working out logistics/background checks with staff and visiting sick kids. Not drunk on Halloween with a broken arm I know the 501st does this a lot. Can people who have done it share their experiences? Good and bad?
Looking for anecdotal stories about kids disappointed spiderman can't climb the wall, or afraid of Darth Vader. Allergies, weapons policy... Oddly, I spoke to the Children's Hospital in Chicago and they thought they might not be allowed to have "Disney" characters. Yep. That includes Han Solo...:facepalm
