HellOO,
Like many of you, I "tried" to "improve" a jacket bought in China (B & MJ)
Color a little too orange for my taste .... and the length and finishes ..... I had to change the look ...!
I did you learn anything .... saying that it takes time, but most of all patience .... and a lot of desire ....
Initially, I painted the jacket "in primer, then black."
I shortened the jacket at least 2 inches.
A little sewing, gluing ...
Then I painted primer ... then red color "burgundy", a non-slip floor mat for car trunk.
A little cutting, gluing ...
To this we add some electronics (MP3 + Mini Speakers).

It remains, however, still some finishing touches to complete ....... but overall, it is lmost complete.

Thank you. ;) 20130317_204550.jpg20130317_204558.jpg20130317_204609.jpg20130317_204615.jpg20130410_213354.jpg20130410_213417.jpg20130410_214037.jpg20130415_194926.jpgvlcsnap-2012-11-03-02h40m49s142222222.png

Hello,
Sorry for not responding sooner, I do not often go on RPF ...
That said, to answer your question, I used part of an office chair: what I call the "bellows / accordion" that surrounds the metal. Metal part that goes from the seat backrest.
And to make the entire jacket: sleeves and bottom ends of the jacket: I bought four office chairs. Simply because I have not found a way to buy only this part of the internet.Office-Chair-Mechanism-J-04-A-.jpgOffice-Chair-Mechanism-J-04-A-.jpg

Hi, Can you describe better the process? Materials list specific. Please I interesting for your jacket. Look amazing
