As those who have noticed, this thread has been dead for a long time, this was due to the theft of the mask. I mentioned this on the 405th. It happend when I was at college, my brothers friends came round and on that day, it went missing. This was back around April. This didn't bother me much, however, last week, during the Christmas holidays, I went with my brother round one of his friends house, there I discovered my mask with the thiefs name written on it, I got quite violent and threatened him to give it back and made him promise never to come round my house again, or there would be consiquences. Now that I have vented the rest of my anger, I have decided to finish this mask, since this was my FIRST ever project and the reason I got into college, so I think it deserves completion.
After the announcement of the new character "Krieg", I have decided to turn this project to continue on to making Krieg's mask. Here is a reference image. I will start to work on this once I finish my other project which is days away from completion.
Hello once again! This is my borderlands psycho mask. First of all, there is a bit of history to this. Before my first start of my Zer0 helmet, I started to make a psycho mask as a side project to take my mind of just making the zer0 helmet. My first attempt of zer0's helmet was a fail (this was a pepakura, fiberglass, bondo type of helmet) so my psycho mask became my main build. I started a thread on 405th.com, but has been abandoned because my account doesn't work, also, I started work on my second attempt of zer0's helmet (currently in progress) so I'm re-posting my progress here and will finish the build log on this page.
Mask was resined.
Then fiberglass.
Mouth area is cut out.
Coke can base lid was fiberglassed to the back, started bondo work and back of the mask was coated in aqua resin for strength and smoothness.
Eye sockets were pep'd, hardened, and sanded.
While I work on my zer0 helm, I will also be doing more work on my mask. I hope to complete this the same time I finish my zer0 helm.
