Hellboy 2 costume - updated image host pics

Hi guys/gals.

I love to watch the builds and the skills on this forum.
Although i don't normally start threads, i always comment on stuff and hopefully in a positive way. Saying that if somethings not so good i don't.

I'm a prop maker and costumer as a hobby and a chef by trade.

I was born with one hand, no I'm not going for the sympathy vote as it doesn't effect me in any way as i just on with things and just try to prove I'm as good a person with two hands.

Ive built a vader rig (esb) which took 2 years, mainly reworking the rubies helmet and took soo long because,learning to paint and polish.

Then it was onto a horror costume .. michael myers from halloween.
I managed to do a gig with the galactic knights in london leicester square (home of cinema) and got to see greg nicotero!

So now the project is hellboy. Ive been working on this since november and am continuously working on it in my spare time.

love it ! Doing a great job what is left to be done ?
I keep falling into these threads as I want to do a Good Samaritan build one day.

Cool! I saw this costume this weekend in person and it's looking really good. The mask is amazing, keep up the good work.

Will it be finished for the Sci-Fi weekender event ???????? Id love to see it as Im a huge HellBoy fan .:love
Also , do you have any Hellboy production built but not screen used props ??

Unfortunaly it didn't quite get finished in time for the sci fi weekender.

It's not too far off from being finished, just more work on the latex mask.
I do have a production piece from hellboy 2
It wasn't used on screen because del torro wanted a change.

The piece is a butcher guards helmet.

Ill post pics for anyone's interest

Just a quick update..
i've now got the comm system (metal version ) from Europe and very nice it is too.

I made a little mode so the on/off button is easier to access without taking the back off.

Wow! When you said be gentle I was thinking it might be a little rough but not even! That is very impressive, you should be very pleased. I didn't see in the video, do you have the tail sorted out?

thanks bud,

i made the tail out of foam sponge with armature wire inside
Then it was painted with latex and coloured.
After watching a video of Spectral motion

HELLBOY & RON PERLMAN - Spectral Motion Bonus! Blood and Guts with Scott Ian - YouTube

i then decided to split the tail and insert some heavy metal chain to give the tail more of a real feel to it.
I just need to re-seam with latex and paint, but that part is also finished.
