awsome man :) mind if i ask how many flaps it has ? and in all honesty the back is the most anticipated part ive been waiting for i just love the shape and detail of it hehe im so in to this armor man at the min ive only got the boot and helmet done but im gunna get the other boot done and then work up i recon :) your amazing for doing this man

After looking at many different pics, there should be 5 in total. 2 big ones on each side, 2 smaller ones on each side, and one in the middle :)

Starting the Mark 42! Once again, trying to give back to this great community with yet another suit! :D I hope you all enjoy this suit as well. I am working really hard to try to make this suit as accurate as i can, since i at least know what this suit looks like thanks to many up close pics (different story for the IP :facepalm)

Currently, I am not sure what height these files are scaled to so you all will have to figure out the scale by measuring in pepakura :)

Hi Jackie,

This is incredible work man, you have inspired me to create my Mark 1 armor. I'm a beginner making foam costumes and after seeing all the different armors out there on this site and after seeing Iron Man 3 I can't wait to get started building my own. Do you have pointers for someone starting out in this hobby? Oh, do you have the Biceps for the Mark 42 also? That's the only part of the armor I think I need to get started. Thanks again.

Don Juan- Thanks! And i agree your pepping is pretty awesome :)

AFDesigns- I have a slight idea about what it looks like under the flaps but not 100%. The only real picture of whats underneath the flaps is the one by hot toys, but looking at some trailer stills (the stills dont show TOO much but the movie CGI model doesnt look like it matches up with the hot toys "under flap" detail.) I will do some more research however :)

hey jackie when i was trying to print the chest i dicided to make the pdf version aswell so i cliked printer,adobe pdf but it keeped on saying that the file was invalid and that the reuest was not finnished could you help me with that please?

Guys, your doing a nice job :eek:
For me, I think i will stop build this iron pan because i can't find the spray that I need for cheap. I found in uk but they don't deliver in France... So sad :( i will looking for another iron man and continue this later. :D

Hey man never give up

Try going to your nearest car shop that sells paint and look for these car spray can paints
look for

Volvo 400 beige gold
Peugeot red pearl

These are close as I could find to a colour match you can get off the shelf
