if i were you ; i'd keep the poly count lower !
especially in the shoulder !
it makes it easier to get a good constant shape !!

i had a modified/simplified/clean unfold of the shoulders, mind if i post in the link? :) all credits to helagak ofcourse :D

the biceps looks killer as usuall :thumbsup

i just "assembled" it in place and unfolded it in a simpler way :) also i changed the texture color :D it's the same scale as the original new unfold by helagak :)

if there's any new files i'll clean unfold them too if helagak would allow me :angel

Nice job maided! There will be more files soon. Also, I just went in and re did the main part of the shoulder... I'll post pics. Dunno if you'll want to reunfold it... I was unhappy with the way it looked. x_x

Hey Helagak just want to know when the new back and chest piece will be up im building your suit right now and loving it i am using your old files for the forearm and bicep which i dont think are bad thanks love your work

My back piece which includes the under arm part isn't perfect, but I think it is pleased to good enough considering how visible it is. :)

Thanks soul. I appreciate it. The way the main model sits, it's a bit too complex for paper pep. And the foam version is too simple. The foam version is simplified to take the thickness of foam into account. I will make another version that should be better for paper pepping. I'll let you know when that is done. :)
It's getting overwhelming making 4 different versions of every piece! x_x
(standard model, paper pep, foam pep, and 3d printing versions!) haha

no bothers love your work and cant wait for the new back and chest im trying out a technique now im using paper mache on the inside of the foam piece and then using body filler with fibreglass in it on the outside yeah i know it sounds odd but i want a rigid suit and have no time for paper method i have used resin on the foam but it does not work it kinda stays in a form thats not tacky but like a rubber form so i did a test piece and used body filler and it works really well

Guys the Helegak file have some problems some things are not joined...and it's difficult make it with pepakura...anyone can make the shoulder, back and bicep files some improvment? :(

That's the whole reason for this rebuild. Those were labeled "mark 8" files. All files labeled "mark 42" will be the new ones.
The idea behind those old mark 8 files was to pep the plates and free hand the silver connection pieces. Mostly this was because I was new to modeling and a lack of really good source material.
