Hi guys, this is my time posting in this forum. Here to share my WIP of my iron man Mark VII made from foam. Would like to thank JFcustom for unfolding and sharing the pepakura files and ofcourse Darkside501st for the models.

I will be trying to use another type of foam for the neck, abs, cod and other moving joints. will post progress on how it goes

I am planning to coat the suit with Plastidip, Smooth-on 65d or Epsilon when it becomes avaliable in my area. If anyone have any comments or tips, please feel free to comment :)

Below are some pictures of me wearing it out! to a local cosplay competition, International Cosplay Day ticket sales and also to a bar XD

I'm looking into building some of my own armor and I just wanted to know what you were using to cover the seams in between the pieces of foam, thanks!

its actually for drying the glue faster. i haven't been bending using heat. the EVA foam i am using seems too soft for it. Feels like it will change into weird shape whether i bend it or not. Which is why i wanna find some way to coat and harden it

Oh, ingenious. And crafty : I'd need a third hand do do so, maintaining parts and using a hairdryer at the same time.

do you have the password for darkside's files?i tried PMing him and haven't received a reply, i'm being impatient but i want to get working on it asap
