warcraft has such a rich story too. im curious which story arc they will take, as you can make at least 10 movies of it.
i was waiting for this movie for allmost 10 years, so they better deliver :D i hope they make it all CGI tho, like the world of warcraft cinematics.

man.... this thing has been speculated on for over 5 years by blizzard.... i dont see how they could top the cinematics.... but im really looking foreward to this movie.... blizzard is not known for putting out crap.

I could see the Arthas/Lich King story arc in this. Alliance and Horde joining forces to take him out in Icecrown. Would love to see a 1:1 Frostmourne prop. And no pandas please.

The only way to really do a CGI Warcraft movie up to the standards of blizzards work is to use blizzards artists and there is no way in hell blizzard will do that. Too many projects and to do a full length CGI movie would take them forever to make.

That's not to say I would like to see one. I'd scream like a giddy school girl if blizzard did a full on CGI Starcraft film, I just don't ever see it happening.

I would have thought that Blizard would have a load of source files of charecteds and locations to get a CGI film started.

i dont really think they are that busy. they only have 1 cinematic in every expansion, everything else are ingame cinematics.

id say those guys are underutilized

about the story, i dont think they can go with anything too far into the deep story of World of Warcraft. while players accept that, and learn backstory via quests (how everything started and so on), you can not expect the general movie goer to know anything about warcraft. so you need to develop what is happening. i dont think you can jump in the middle of the storyline and just have 2 factions that are at war suddenly uniting over a common goal.
while i would love a lich king or illidan stormrage story, i think they will use the warcraft novels as base

i've debated on wether or not i should begin again, but fact is, i am very much addicted to the game, and while i was playing, neglected everything else.

Don't do anymore raids. Just instances. Haven't you tried the newly included Pokémon style pet battle system yet?

same here, i was HARDCORE addicted to that game for years, it caused a lot of problems in real life and relationships, and i didnt see it at the time, but i finally quite for good shortly after cataclysm. i always had a lot of fun, and ill look back on those times fondly, but im smart enough to know i cant go back. even if i wanted to, the people i played with were what made it so great, and they have all split up and gone their seperate ways. ive logged in every once in a while when i get an email saying ive got a free week, but its just not the same. i STILL love the game, and a few warcraft related sites are in my daily viewing tabs, but i know ill never go back.
