'Arrow' from CW show. What's the base bow?

Myself and my fellow employees that have been looking into the details of this bow since the pilot episode of arrow

Oh, ok. I was thinking you were referring to everyone that has been posting in the definitive thread, and not giving them credit. Glad to hear it's really just a crack team of experts that have NOT CONTRIBUTED here... at all. Maybe they can help us out on some of the remaining items.

Sure thing I will ask them tonight if they would like to make an account and get in on the discussion

Awesome! I'm looking forward to that.

I got a little confused by your website, because it says:
We specialize in replicating the bow from the CW hit show Arrow.

But from what you've posted here, it doesn't look like you've even completed one yet, but you specialize in it? Maybe that's just how it's done in Jersey? Things get exaggerated.

Yea haha I do have one completed just haven't gotten around to taking photos of it yet once the bow is available the fully finished photos will be posted

Ok, I just assumed you'd show the finished bow on your website and on here instead of whoring your WIP pictures in all the Arrow threads here. Maybe next time?

Yes once I have professional photos taken of the final product the site will be updated sorry for the confusion

Initials ?

Oh. No haha I just used his until I put one of mine up haha the site should be updated now

So you're saying you used his pictures to represent your own product?

I'm going to say your "specialists" used Chris' project pics as "their" reference for your bow. "They" missed some details and added some others.

Again the cw on my bow stands for the network the show is shown on I never meant to take any credit or steal anything from Chris if I offended him I apologize it was not my intent

No offense taken on my part, I think folks are just trying to ascertain the accuracy of the product.

Besides, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

I know it's an old thread, but having used it to help me find the parts for arrows now I thought I'd post exactly what I found because a lot of it is spot on!

For the handle it's a 316 straight fairlead.
For the hinges they are marine grade strap hinges 316.
The bow I bought which isn't a replica but cheap and easy to modify and bulk put is a wooden bow with 3 arrows and a quiver on eBay and it should come up, £17.99 uk price comes from china.
I used flat black enamel paint for the arrows and bow limbs.
The nuts which are located on the hinges are M8 dome nuts, or also called cap nuts.

Think that covers the harder to find items :)
Hope it helps someone out.

I'm going to LFCC in July as arrow and wanted to a pro looking setup for my first comic con!
