The Amazing Spider-Man 2

I agree with spiderfan 11, there are a TON of differences. The only beef I have is I wish the belt portion wasnt so square, and it had more of a point to it. I love the soles of the boots, thats all he needs, considering he climbs walls etc. Better than the suction cup boots of ASM. Man, I hated the basketball suit so much, IMO it had no redeeming qualities at all. This however, looks pretty damn perfect. I would tweak the spider on the chest though, make it smaller, and higher on the chest. I still cant get how awesome the eyes look. Its the closest representation of the comics there could be. I hope they make it the main suit.

DAT POSE.

Shouldn't Spider-man be crawling barefoot? How does his stickyness transfer to his shoes? Damn you science, I must know! I honestly hate the belt...Everything else looks pretty good.

At least there IS a belt this time. :lol

But the question is does the belt have pockets? I still want to see him run out of web fluid and have to reload... :cry

Me too! I have a question that maybe one of you can answer. I havent watched ASM since it first came out, did Peter steal the web fluid and canister stuff, or did he just buy it? I also want to see him use the cannisters in other ways.

They never said anything about that in the film, so I'm gonna assume that he stole it. It doesn't seem like that stuff would be for sale to the public...

Ok, just checking. So, what is he going to do when he runs out? Just casually go back into Oscorp and steal another box? I hope that he at least synthesizes his own in the next movie, going off of Oscorp as a base. I hate when things like that go unexplained. Its like "hey, look, we changed something from the other movie, thats cool right!?!?" but then they dont explain how they even did it.

I'm pretty sure it shows him ordering them in the movie. There was an advertisement either on tv or the web that showed the material being able to pull planes then later Peter pulls some of the cartridges out of a mail order box.

Yeah, I remember that. I thought he was just doing research... plus, I don't see how he could afford industrial strength super string that's used to pull airplanes. :lol

^^^ Seriously, I mean cmon, according to this movie, he didnt even have a job. See, stuff like that irks me. I would have gone the "Ill steal some, then figure out how its made, then make my own". If thats one of the big selling points of the "untold story" (webshooters as opposed to organic) at least make it fun and not lame.

It would be nice it somehow Pete was forced to make his own. I don't remember if they mentioned in the film if the Oscorp stuff dissolved, so maybe in the sequel (to fix things), the cops figured out spidey's webbing came from there. So Peter decides to formulate his own with a slightly altered molecular structure using household items (since, you know, he's supposed to be a genius) that would dissolve after a few hours. Voila.

No they did not mention that at all, to my recollection at least cause then I would have been like "SCHWEET" in my best nerd voice. Good call though, that would be awesome if they did something like that. Still cant get over the lights on the web shooters.... UGH.

Anyone have any idea of where they're shooting (if they even are) on May 15th-20th? I just realized I'm going to NYC those days and I'm wondering if they'll be shooting anywhere in the vicinity of where I'm staying.

Not sure where they are in NYC, but some crews are starting to film portions of one of the chases up in Rochester today. Two streets over from my work... Had a chance to check out the lot full of NYPD cars and NYC taxis along with the Bugle van previously spotted in Chinatown.

Yeah, the dissolving web issue really needs to be brought into the picture. I always wondered about that in the Raimi films, also. If it didn't dissolve they would have been able to get Peter's DNA from the web. In TAS, if it doesn't dissolve, surely it could be traced back to Oscorp, and then to whomever orders it from them.

Yup this happens.....
