Thanks guys. Sorry for the lack of updates. Been busy finishing my spidey suit for a while now. I also revamped the codpiece to make it more accurate and to match up with the abs. I've also scrapped up the abs and made a new one since I wasn't contented with its overall look and shape. I'll keep you guys posted tomorrow. :thumbsup

That's the same eva foam I'm using for most of the parts. They just come in different colors and thicknesses.

Hope ya'll like 'em.
Update time:

For most of the rear pictures, I didn't realize the legs weren't properly aligned so they look a little off.

I'll be attaching the top most part of the abs to the chest so it'll allow more mobility. I'm planning to use thin aluminum strips for the chrome parts so hopefully by next week I'll find where to buy 'em and attach them to the needed parts. I'll keep you guys updated once I finish the next part...I'm still thinking whether to make the shoes or move on to the primary part, chest and back..But I'm still thinking..

Worked on a little more since I took 2 days off of work. Hope you'll like 'em.

Used my mk7 neckpiece as I haven't made a new one yet for this suit.
The backpiece which hasn't undergone the heatgun process yet. The shape [as you can see] is nearly flat.

Now after a quick heatgun shaping process.

And the final result.

Will add the details later or tomorrow morning. Depends on my mood. :facepalm

The chest.

The flaps hasn't been properly attached yet as I plan them to be motorized once I'm done. Same method with my mk7.

I tried to stay close to the statue released at SDCC. Also, I did not include the abs in the pictures as I plan to scrap them again [for the 2nd time] to make them go better with the codpiece and chest. Well, I'm hoping 3rd time's a charm for me. :lol

Incredible, dude! You guys doing the free hand builds are legends! I'm struggling just with a Mark 4 suit. So for you and Tribalgrind to be doing these suits by eye amazes me. I can't wait to see the rest of the suit.

Just a minor update, while waiting for the webshooters I made to dry, I detailed the wingflaps.

Thank you. Unfortunately my phone's crappy memory card got corrupted and the pics from my helmet wip were gone, that's why I was only able to post 1 picture, and that was the 1 on the 1st page :cry

Some updates. Finished detailing the back. Am still trying to figure out if I'll rework the abs or not (such an awful waste of rubber). Will test fit it later once I get the 4th plate of the abs done (the top most part) and see if it'll work or not. Here are some shots of the back for now.

Some folks are asking me if I have digital templates or used pep files for this build. Sorry folks but this is all free-hand. Not bragging or anything, just wanted to keep my inbox spam-free. Hope you understand.
