My first saber was a stick I spraypainted red. I then had the blow up and the Force saber. I don't think I had any of the knock offs though.

Now I build my own sabers!

I had one of those "knockoffs" as a kid.

I got a pair of this version for Christmas, '77, and they were tough.

The guy that sold them supposedly did very well for himself before the cease & desist.

The plastic "The Force" lightsaber is still my all time favorite toy. I have 4 of them and even the rare yellow one. Love em!!
