War Machine, working on more parts now, pic way heavy :)

Its a slow build, since im doing a predator suit that i want to finish first, im using files from zabanas, juice, dubean ,eyc,everythingi find that i like, of course theyre going to be modded, so far i like how its looking,the chest i like it how it is, but until i finish my arms to compare proportion i wouldnt be 100% sure, but i tried it on and i like it, enough talkheres some pics:

Hello, first the helmet

Taking shape, eyes reworked a little

This is how it is right now until i finish it

Goodies, led eyes by darkjerre, ex wife by jowe, repulsors by project earth, hinges by mockle, just the weapons set and arc reactor left

Testing the chest

Just another test, sorry for the mess in my room

The chest made it look like that , thats why i trash it, the helmet fits me like a glove if i make it smaller it wont fit me, i have to bend my ears just to try it on, i will take some measures and post it

The chest looks fine to me, you might want to try a manual scale up rather than 10%, that might be too much. I'm a 38" chest and the width of my pep was 430mm and it fits great. Keep in mind that the War Machine chest doesn't fit you as snugly as the Iron Man chest would. There's going to be an inch or so of space in the front and back.

Im using 1.64 scale now that one was 1.10

Mine is 1.69 so if you have a smaller chest than me you should be fine without having to rebuild it.

No , lol, the one in the pic was 1.10, now im doing a 1.64 one, i wasnt feeling it, so its on the thrash, when i looked at the helmet and the chest i knew i needed a bigger one

Ah okay, fair enough.

Protip on doing the abdomen part: Don't worry about what the scale says. Use the width of your chest (in the scaling panel in pepakura designer) and change the abdomen to the same width. Maybe subtract 25-30mm just to be safe. The scale for the upper chest and abdomen aren't equal, so if you use the same scale for the abdomen, it's going to come out really small.

A quick update, still a ton to do on the helmet, as you see i have to fix left eye and the jaw

Lil update, still fixin, cut the jaw for a better simetry, and fiberglassed where i cut, im doing some mods to the side of the helmet too, adding styrene strips as a guide for bondoing later

I like the strip idea and I love all the wip pics. Most of them you see are of near complete projects and you don't get to see all the hard work that you know they put into them. Great so far.

Thank you, yes its hard work, i make fiberglass enclosures for cars,bodykits etc for a living, so its hard work ,and its not easy no matter what they say, but im enjoyin it!
