heat element boxes for vacuum forming

hi every

a friend of mine and i are starting to get into vacuum forming.
we built our vacuum boxes and now its time to make the heat boxes to melt the plastic.

this is where you come in my friends!

if anyone here who vacuum forms could share the plans or how they made their heating element boxes that would be great!!!

your help and expertise is greatly appreciated :love:love:love

i saw that thread a few days ago. i was wondering if anyone else had plans using heat elements out of ovens or toasters or dryers.

it's pretty hard for us here in the usa to get those kinds of floor heaters they have in england.
 
or you can use something like this

also building a vacuum former but using volpin props design as well. thought the design calls for an expensive heating element coil

right now looking for an alternate cheaper price on a heating element. ideas? maybe break down a quarz heater.
