Steampunk Child's Cyberman Costume

Hi everyone! I made the following costume last year for my 11 yo kid. It was a success, but we just decided to go back to D*C and I want to "steampunk" this up. I have added a monocle to the helmet and want the arms and legs, chest piece to get the SP treatment.

We have gone back to weather the the silver with copper rub-n-buff.

Any advice on how to make this steampunk, please post away!

Wow that looks great I bet your kid had a blast in it. To steampunk it out throw a bunch of "rivets" on it especially at "seam lines" on the cyberman's arms and legs. Maybe put a steam exhaust pipe rising off his shoulder or back with one of those little flip-top lids at the top of it.

Looks good cant wait to see how it turns out.

Thanks for the encouragement. I bought so wooden pieces that you put in holes to cover them up. I can't find "real rivets". I want to add them to the helmet, but I am a little worried I will mess the helmet for good.

Also, any advice to find the bigger cogs and gears - for the knee joints and hip joints? I can't figure out what to do there yto SP the arms and legs.

No real advice, I'm still a newbie. But I wanted to say great job. My kids would love this costume too, we're big Who fans.
