Steam Punk Wilder Wonka Costume

I need a costume for GearCon and I decided to do the Wilder Wonka, with a little twist. I have the hat and there are many sources for the coat, so mainly I am looking for vest and accessories similar to the original, but more steam-punkish if possible. Perhaps a vest with a gear pattern instead of the original floral pattern? Any other ideas?
