Fringe Observer Tracking Device

I just watched the Fringe episode where you see some more of September's gadgets, I know a few people have made some Fringe props here, so I thought I would post screencaps incase anyone wanted to take a crack at this prop.


Juding by the size of the device as held by Peter, and sizing it compared to my Nokia phone I'd estimate it's about 55mm x 120mm and 25mm thick at the top end with the rounded side area and about 20-22mm thick towards the centre.

I don't know, it has the look of a dictaphone to me, but I'm really not sure.

It wouldn't be difficult to scratchbuild one from styrene.

All the interactive devices used in the program have I pads/Pods as the core device.
The casing are then created and magnetically attached around them.

Season 3 (i think) has a whole segment on the props department. But this prop is talked about in S4, at least on the blu-ray it is.

! no kidding? that's really interesting.
