Doctor Who, Girl in the Fireplace clockwork droid, Headless!

I made a cosplay Clockwork Droid and debuted it at PAX East this weekend. It's a bit different from the previous clockwork droids out there:

With the mask on, it looks like this:

I have all my build photos on a gallery here.

I still have a few things left to do:
- Make a petal jabot that will not obscure my eyesight
- Increase her bust
- Add the stem/leaves for the felt roses
- Porcelain crackle the mask
- Finish the mechanism to raise and lower the arms

but overall I'm pleased with how it turned out. I even got linked on Reddit and io9! Thanks for taking a look.

That is amazing! I've seen a whole load of clockwork people but never the actual droid! Awesome work!

Very cool! Any plans to make the gearwork head behind the mask? Even without it, it's a great costume. Well done!

It would be great to do. Since I don't have any expertise in that, I imagine that I would find a working clock internal and include it within other pieces. Not sure how to make the wind up accessible, but it would be totally worth it.

The internals aren't permanently set in place in case I need to fix or upgrade it.
