Scaling .PDS (.PNG) Files for Printing:
The best Advice I can Give you, is to use your Printers Settings. For me, I'd do this:

Try opening the Image in Microsoft Paint > File > Print > Page Setup.
It should allow you to Position the Image in the Center of the Page, make sure PORTRAIT is selected,
not LANDSCAPE, and dont use "Fit To Page", use "ADJUST TO", and scale it to the Size you Need.

You can Increase the Size of the Print, or Decrease it. If you increase,
it SHOULD just print the Larger image on a couple MORE sheets of Paper.

Re: Syrus54 - Misc .PDOs

Just a heads up that it's considered good practice to
a) give appropriate credit to the original modeller and
b) ask the original modeller before modifying their file

Also, stretching out the neck like that it won't fit anyone so not the original modellers fault :lol

Ironman Neck v2, Unfolded.

Not My Model, but I am the one that Modified it.

It's Scaled to the Same Dimensions as the Original, so if it doesnt fit, blame the Original Modeller.

Dude, The knee armour is amazing.
It is the type of piece that "other" people will not really appreciate as its rather subtle.
Excellent work.
By the way my friend almost moistened his under garments when he saw the Pulse rifle.

Re: Syrus54 - Misc .PDOs

And still good people that share their work instead of making it into a sale right away...you are the best...

Re: Syrus54 - Misc .PDOs

Tutorial - Deleting Polyfaces using Pep Designer.

I found a way that you can lower the poly count using Pep Designer.

1st, you need the full version of PEPAKURA DESIGNER.

Once you load the model into it, goto "3D MENU", then "EDIT MODE", then "EDIT MODEL"... You'll have to click "UNFOLD UNDO" before you can change a model that has already been unfolded onto the paper templates to the Right.

It'll allow you to make many changes to the model, including "DELETE EDGE".

You can delete as many edges as you need to, to reduce the poly count, but be careful and SAVE often. If you delete TOO MANY faces that are touching eachother, it'll crash on you.

Delete 1 face, skip the next, then Delete. If you Skip 1 face, Delete the next, and so on, it SHOULDNT crash.

Re: Syrus54 - Misc .PDOs

Rendering Tips:

It's all in the TEXTURES. Drag and Drop a texture (that you will have to create) onto the Object you wish to render in a specific color, look, or reflectivity.

The Textures, aka MATERIALS, are located in the Bottom Left corner of your window. Double-Click to add a new Texture.

For CHROME, try these settings: Double click your texture to edit it.

For Lighting, try playing around with "GLOW" and "SPECULAR GLOW".

It's really just a matter of screwing around, until you get the right look.
