Got the top portion of the ribs on along with the receiver portions and misc boxes and knobs.

Made some inserts for the breach to maybe make it look like the bolt is closed? What is anyone's opinion on how these look?

Nice work so far! I really don't like how most folks make the rubber grip part of the body but I guess it works?

It's "man" sized scale. It's scaled to the same proportions as the SM armor I am working on also for approximately 6'2". Needless to say it is still quite big. Ill take some measurements and put them up. The bolt pistol is to the same scale also.

I'v been looking over my as yet unfinished bolter and finding things I can do better or different heh. I was checking out screenshots from Space Marine looking for additional details and saw some things in textures that I liked. Circled in red on this pic. I decided to recut some new receivers with those details in them.

Here is the bolter with all the large pieces pretty much done. These are upside down because the handle is going to be cast separately (and will work for both bolter and bolt pistol) so it is not attached. Now on to some more of the detail work with styrene. Anyone have experience attaching styrene to foam? Was thinking of trying hot glue.

I'm not sure, heh. I dont think it will get hot enough temp wise to melt it but I will give it a test run on a small piece and report back.

Been working on some of the smaller details. Here is the clip release with some half circle styrene added.

And here I added some ribbed styrene around the little knob on the side.
