Okay, here's how to get involved:

Pick a spirit/creature on the UNCLAIMED list and post here that you will do the research for them. If you have something to add to the list that isn't there already feel free!

All I need from researchers is a word document of copy/paste articles on the spirit. Please be as thorough as possible using different sources if you can. Important things to include are:

- Any other names they may go by
- Area of origin (or where they are most common) ie: Nigeria, Germany, Britain, etc.
- Traits
- Visual description
- Accounts of encounters
- Any info on followers
- Weaknesses (if any recorded)

Let's not fight over spirits, first come first serve. As a special thank you to all researchers I will include your real name in the book somewhere if you like.

If anyone would like to take a stab at writing finished articles for the book let me know. I'll send you an example of how they are to be written. It's important to me that this book be in one "voice" so if you can write to match the style I'd be happy for the help.

Also, a quick update. I have finished pretty much everything but am waiting to hear back from my brother about some of the Latin used in the Arcanum. It has turned out to be full of contradictions between on-screen dialogue and on screen details and I am trying to get everything identified so you can choose what information you want included.

I'll take the four horseman and the real accounts of the dibbuk box. Kinda have a thing for possessed objects. When do you want these in and any idea how long you want the write ups?

This blog has some pictures you might be able to use. I thought this picture was pretty neat. The blog labels it as "hobgoblins", but google translate says duendecitos is the Spanish word for elves.

I may like to take a stab at writing an article or two. If I enjoy doing it, I may want to do several. Just let me know.

If they're in RGB try to include the lore that they speak of but otherwise I'm just looking for entries that describe them with the view that they are actually spirits who were then interpreted as Gods by mankind (whether inadvertently or on purpose).

Timeframe is pretty loose, I'm working through them as I get them and I have a few in the queue.

Final entries are most often one or two pages each. I'll send you a PM with an example entry as well.

I was over optimistic in the beginning with my time frame but I'm sticking with it! I came to realize that there's no point in making this unless it's at least 300 pages of info. It has to look and feel like a legit tome of the supernatural.

Therefore, when it's done it will be a truly epic piece of work! Likely a couple of years before the end result though because as I'm finding I'm actually writing a book! :eek :lol
