Official Show off your model collection thread!

I'm really really new to modeling (about 1-2 years), so be gentle!

Here's what I've done so far:

So this is the first model I have worked on (and finished) in... 10 years?! Would love some feedback on how to improve - I guess I would need to do a better paintjob?
There are 2 more planes in the hangar tube that I couldn't get focused on my camera.

Hi all. Newbie here. I have a variety of models built over the last twenty years or so. Most of them can be found on my blog. Main themes are Star Trek (you could have staged episodes with the models on my ceiling by the time I was 18!), Doctor Who (Daleks in particular) and real spacecraft, with a bit of Blake's 7 thrown in.

A Xenos weapon I made last year. Was asked to imagine what a pistol type weapon would look like for one of the Alien creatures. I figured it would have to be organic, tap into the blood system as it's acidic and they wouldn't have the intelligence to re-load a weapon (they're like soldier ants as I see it) and also would suffer loss of mobility if they had to hold something.

Thus this was created.

Plumbing pipe, sculpy, acrylic paint, gloss varnish. Grips legs are cast from resin. Hope you like.

Here's my humble collection, now unfortunately packed away in boxes in my parent's attic while I'm off in Japan. They all narrowly avoided a house fire a week before I left too.

These are my Star Wars models photshopped together. I could have colour corrected better but time doesn't grow on trees or something like that.
The Star Destroyer is revells 10 cm-pocket version, the other two are good old MPC-Falcon and AMT-Tie, both 1:60ish.

Some of my older models, most are gone,....sold or broken up in the attic

This photoshop merge is just one Dalek (Sevans painted as seen in 'Genesis of the Daleks')

This is one of the Sevans Davros models I made and sold, I still have 2 nearly complete that have been sitting like that for over 5 years

I made this for a mate, it's about a foot & a half long, he still has it on display

I also made this Enterprise for him which won first prize at a model competition 1996? in 'Leisure World' in Belfast (which was shut down shortly afterward in 1998)

These are recent photos of my Halcyon Alien kits that haven't survived so well from their adventures in the Attic

This one is modified with a more smoother cranium & opened mouth (missing it's tongue)

I sold this kit through 'The Modellers Nook' in Belfast, don't know who bought it, but it did end up on display in the Armagh Planetarium

I can't post pics of kit-built models as I don't have a camera right now, but here's a few of the pics I took last year of models I scratch-built some years ago of some of the interior sets of the Nostromo from the original Alien movie. Best to view them after sunset, as I deliberately made them dark to try & replicate the lighting levels from the movie. I posted them all in the 'general modelling' section a few days ago, with detailed descriptions of which scenes they represent, in a thread entitled 'Alien Nostromo interior models'.
