Han in Carbonite 1/6th scale sculpt (WIP)

First I'd like to say that this is my first venture into sculpting so any pointers would be incredible.

I'm not sure if this is exactly 1/6th scale but it stands 13 inches tall.

Here is the build for the base. It's made of cardboard and will eventually be bondo'ed entirely so it has a smooth surface when I make a mold and cast it.

Here's the start of the body.

I didn't like the head so I sculpted another. But unfortunately I don't like this head either, so I will sculpt another, and another until I get it right.
Here's where I am as of now. Any critiques or advice would be greatly appreciated.
