Non-screen accurate helmets; clone trooper, halo,

I'm not the best replica builder but I love doing it. So what ends up happening is I "blow up" what ever prop I build which usually means it looks like it's been through a battle. The Creator (George Lucas) once said the original Star Wars was suppose to look like a world that's been lived in and I take that to heart. So...

Here's a Halo helmet I made out of the Halloween mask and a motorcycle helmet. I wish, wish, wish I'd taken work in progress photos because this turned into a bigger butt whippin than it was suppose to. I thoughts I'd just take the plastic mask and glue it to a helmet and be done. I worked on this things for weeks; bondo, sanding, repainting. It was a lot of work to make it look this bad. The bullet hole is in the icon face shield because I tried using gold window tint on the clear shield and could get the bubbles out.

The clone trooper helmet was just a paint on a helmet I bought off e-bay. I'm a big fan of the flying tigers and I thought I'd do a flying tiger/gree hybrid design. Let me know what you think.

Given what you worked with it turned out alright. Wish you had the wip though. Can you still see clearly out of the spartan helmet?
