Thanks Gary :) . Man, there are so many to choose from :wacko so I made a 'list' & chose the ones I liked most or I would end up with a HP room of its own :lol

The flask is by The Noble Collection, available on ebay, Amazon etc :thumbsup

Cheers Michelle :D

For the Tooth fairy, I very, very, very highly recommend using XTC-3D. Wish I had discovered it / was invented earlier, I would have used it on sooooo many past projects ! Cuts down finishing time on anything by 75% easily ! For the TF, ignore the instructions and use a small brush and a VERY fine coating, otherwise the details on that great kit will be lost :thumbsup

In 1:1 ?!? :lol

The only reason not is because the prop room too small :ninja

:lol

Thank you Gary, and I'm always so glad you "enjoy the show" :)

Re: My Prop Replica Collection - New Arrivals - Prince of Persia + LOTR

I see a Starsky and Hutch Gran Torino lurking there in the shadows... man did I want that car when I was watching that show back in the day. On a side note, I'll never forget when I was in France and watched some episodes of Starsky and Hutch dubbed in French... their vocal portrayal of Huggy Bear was absolutely priceless! :lol

Yup, there's a 1:18 ERTL which is a fantastic model IMO, and a boxed Corgi with figurines. Here's a better pic for you :)

I can definitely relate to that. One of my cousins had a model, but I didn't. I was dark green with envy :lol

Fast forward 35 years, and now I do ... 2 of them :lol

Re: My Prop Replica Collection - New Arrivals - Battlestar Galactica

Around a month ago, I was just about to finish watching BSG (again) and was on the last few disks.

The Mrs. had never seen it, and got interested in what I was watching.

So while I was watching the last few disks during the day .... I re-started watching it in the evenings, again, for her.

Although I had just gone through the series, I was amazed how I was, once again, re-hooked ! As was she !

Without doubt, one of the most fantastic series ever made. Totally in a class all of its own :cool

And therefore, some more BSG stuff :lol

First up, a BSG Uniform Patch

Re: My Prop Replica Collection - New Arrivals - Prince of Persia + LOTR

Frakking great tv show, so say we all :D
I only watched like half of the first season when it first started airing. Wanted to wait until it ended and watching it all in one go. I managed to wait until I got it on bluray in 2011. A truly fantastic show :)

The only reason not is because the prop room too small :ninja

:lol

Thank you Gary, and I'm always so glad you "enjoy the show" :)

Technically you could have a 1:1 Titanic replica in that room.... if it's CGI ;)

Re: My Prop Replica Collection - New Arrivals - Battlestar Galactica

Also like the staff weapon and those Tin-Tin figures. I read the Large format Comic books of Tin Tin in the early eighties. I also have all 3 seasons on DVD.

And how could you not like a ZPM ? :)

I do the same thing Marcus, only saw the whole BSG series for the first time a year ago or so. Got Caprica, Blood & Chrome & The Plan only last month :D

Never in a rush. I love to leave loads of series etc unwatched, & do so in our own good time spreading the joy over years :D

Thanks Ronald. I have all the Tin Tin TV cartoon series on DVD too :). Unbelievably 100% faithful to the books !

Re: My Prop Replica Collection - New Arrival - Star Trek

This has always been one of my of my Trek prop replica holy grails :D

A Kurlan Naiskos, as given to Picard by Professor Galen in the episode from TNG, "The Chase".

( I am a firm believer of the theory that Picard donated the original to a museum, and thus discarded a common replica in Generations. So there :lol )

For non-trekkies, here is a brief description of this artifact :)

A Kurlan naiskos was a ceramic figurine statue made by the Kurlan civilization, vaguely similar to a Russian Matryoshka doll from Earth. A naiskos consists of a large hollow body, of which the top half can be removed to reveal several smaller figurines inside, similar in shape to the original one. Naiskoi reflected Kurlan philosophy in the sense that they believed that an individual was actually a community of individuals, each with their own voice, their own desires and their own view of the world. Ornamentation on the surface of a naiskos indicates which dynasty of the Kurlan civilization it came from. Because the Kurlan civilization died out millennia prior to the 24th century, a complete or intact naiskos is extremely rare, making these highly valuable to collectors and archaeologists.

In 2369, Captain Jean-Luc Picard's former mentor, Professor Richard Galen, gave him a complete and intact Third Dynasty Kurlan naiskos manufactured by the Master of Tarquin Hill, which was more than 12,000 years old. Picard was clearly moved by this gift.

Re: My Prop Replica Collection - New Arrival - Star Trek

Actually Spot on one of his unsupervised jaunts broke the original, that is why Picard so callously treated the Replicated copy at the end of "Generations"

Him having one was just not meant to be.

Fantastic finish on yours and don't let you know who in the room! :lol

Thanks Tony :)

You-know-who-it-that-cannot-be-named, has yet not been able to figure out the latch.

And something wasn't quite right / ants in the pants :lol

Made some minor subtle modifications.

Blended in the green parts on the 'wings' a tad more, and 'soiled' the chest.

Now I'm totally happy with it :)

Before on the left, after on the right.
