Hey guys as you may or may not know i'm kinda new to this form but i have a bit of experience in costume design. I made a Bioshock Big Daddy costume last year which wasn't the best costume ever, but my best work. I'll make another thread and post some photos of it. Anyhow, this is about a dalek costume i want to make. I'm thinking using an electric wheelchair(if i can get one) as the base and then I'm drawing a blank as to what else to use. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

That's certainly the cheaper way to go (and the way the actual show props work.) I think it'd be pretty exhausting wheeling your way around a con in one, though. I mean, just sit in an office chair and pull it around with your feet. You're using muscles you never use. Now add however much a Dalek weighs. Yeah, that's gonna get old fast.
