Arg, finally got decent clay that sticks to tiny plaster hands. Lol. Started to finally be able to sculpt. Still adding more clay, not doing detail on the top except the nails because the latex will have fur covering it, but underneath I'm adding more clay and wrinkles.. I put both so you can see what I'm adding, though one has some white sculpey before I switched to brown. Still sculpting, hope to make mould soon!!

Using gloves is a great idea.
This way his hands will look made up without having to paint his hands. Risking smearing paint.

Been a bit since my last update. I finished sewing the suit together minus the areas for the straps to go through.
Added hidden zipper because 6 year olds have to pee. The little zipper tag will tuck into the areas the belts come through
Also a zipper in the back. It will be covered up but still wanted it discreet

this build is epic!!!! cant wait to see I finished very nice job!!! and yeah sewing does suck. I just got done sewing my deadpool costume together. it wasn't fun for a first timer lol.

Thank you!! Got slowed down by halloween and life. Need to get it done so I can finish the rest. A display would be awesome! I still need that nerf version of Rocket's gun to come out in the u.s!!

Don't know if this helps, but they have it on sale on amazon.com, but it is a little pricey. Anyway hope this helps a little. Great build.

yup, thats the gun I wanted. Just can't afford that with a family of 7

Thank you!! I actually am going to modify they head again, the fact the fur is more grey than I want is bothering me
I am going to inlay a better white rather than using the airbrushed white. I sewed part of the vest for his orange suit and am working on his feet, now that halloween is over I have time again

Don't mean to sound creepy when I ask this but where do ya'll live? If you are able to go to DragonCon in Atlanta, Georgia I suggest ya'll enter this in the costume contest. I would be surprised if you didn't walk away with first place and probably fan/audience favorite.

WWell had a bunch of failures. I didn't like all latex hands because my sons hands were sweating super bad. After lots of different attempts I settled on taking small black gloves I found on eBay and sewing the latex palms and the anterior side of the fingers to a soft glove. I left free room in between fingers because I didn't want his hands overly limited in movement. Once I'mdone sewing I will be adding nails then fur. Fingers crossed!
