Hi everyone, first post since a long time here, too much projects and comissions for that . But here you go, my last prop build: the doctor's mask from Assassin'S Creed Brotherhood. It's also kind of the first step of a bigger project which is the complete costume.
Building up the general shape with foam and foam core on a cheap plaster/cardboard mask from dolorama.
Adding Bondo for carving the shape.
Starting the carving / adding more bondo.
Final carving and patching.
Texturing done.
Adding the details around the eyes, these are pieces of heavy electrical wire insulation glued with epoxy.
Little kludged system to hold the wire insulation as the epoxy dries.
Preparing for making the mold,
The original sculpt in clay, ready for silicon.
First coat of silicon.
Mold jacket made with plaster, because I didn't have anything fancier.
Inside of the finished mold.
And finally, the first pull, made with smooth cast 30
Tell me what you think about it, I should post the final pictures tomorrow!
