aside from the comments the Tomenosuke company has made on their website, I dont think anything has been confirmed. However their comments seem fairly confident.

A post on propsummit.com states that the new Tomen planned for 2017 has no relation to the upcoming movie :confused

I hate to jinx it, but I suspect Gosling's blaster will look cool for a minute til you put it up side by side with the original, and then it will just lack that certain something that grounds it in the Blade Runner world. Maybe it's because his piece was likely drafted in a computer where the original was crafted from found parts. I dunno, just a hunch

Maybe the "2049" ad is just to plug the new run and by saying that has no relation with the movie, they mean that it is not an officially licensed product. Makes sense since there's no Blade Runner logo or Copyright notice anywhere in the ad. I'm okay either way, I'm getting this if it's my only purchase of the year.

New York International Toy Fair starts this weekend in the big apple and NECA, who have the 'replicas' licence for Blade Runner 2049, will be show-casing their wares. If any member here is going remember to hit the NECA stand with your camera and post the results for all us hungry proppies!

I've been looking at that first promo picture since October 6th last year, I want to see that new gun up close!

The only picture I could find from a web search for 'NECA toy-fair' images is a set of action figures but the interesting thing is that both Deck and K are holding amber-gripped PKD pistols. Perhaps the new gun in the promo photo was a red herring?
Deck also appears to be in the 'western shirt' costume from the first movie...

DAMN! scratch that, it was a re-posted fan build. Gutted. Always check the source, always check the source...

Exciting news on this, I was on the waitlist at HCG for a different blaster I put myself in the waitlist for back in January. I bought a Coyle instead. Then I got this email. So looks like I will own a Coyle and a New 2049. General sale starts March 13. Not sure when it delivers yet.
