Geez, that is confusing. lol
The borough of Jenkintown! Home of The Wook, Bradley Cooper, and The Goldbergs!
(I'm probably the most famous of the three--but it's close, I suppose.)
The Wook
My wife grew up in Pottstown.
Wow, can't believe you did the whole movie, Very good looking for back then.There was a thread I did back in 2011 that was about the SW and ESB comic books I spent almost five years drawing as a kid. I thought in honor of the anniversary I might revisit it for any of you that did not see it back in '11.
If you can get the links to work, that is. It's all on Photobucket (does anyone even use that anymore?). I had a little trouble getting the links to work--don't know if it my computer or not. See if you can get to it, if you like.
But it was my labor of love as a young teenager. I spent ALL my free time drawing it. My skills certainly lacked at that age as I had no art training at that point. It's all of SW and about half of ESB. There is a foreward at the beginning of each which tells how and what I did. You'll have to click on each individual page to get it large enough to see.
Maybe you'll get a chuckle out of it.

What a great place to see Star Wars! Enormous screen, with a seating capacity of 922! It must've been electric in there!
I saw the last film ever shown, there: a Special Engagement of The Godfather, circa the turn of the century. It was a real treat.
Cessna, if it's not too much trouble, could you post a current photo--maybe a screencap from google earth--and mark with an X the location of the theater? If not, no worries. I just have trouble finding it whenever I cruise down the 8 or Hotel Circle.
The Wook
You can compare to then and see where it used to be. Roads are the same. Amazing how much crap gets built! Too crowded in the area, they keep adding massive condos.

So I guess there is a BevMo there now. LOL
I saw it in early June I think back then, didn't get to go for a couple weeks. Perhaps I should go to BevMo and celebrate.
Was 11, my mom drove my friend and me 22 miles from Ontario Ca. to West Covina to see it, as it was initially in a limited release and not in Ontario. It's good to have a mother who is a bit of a Science Fiction nut herself.
@Laspector : I tape-recorded the sound of the movies
