Terminator 2 ending revelations. Thought provoking read.

Another reason why T2 doesn't work. It does not fit with the T1 continuity.
How so? It takes place approximately 11 years later, in 1995. John's birthday is listed on the police computer as 2-28-85, and Silberman saying Sarah is 29 means she was 18 in the first film. John says she was arrested for "trying to blow up a computer factory", presumably the one Reese died in. The only mismatch concerns the Terminator rounding numbers, like placing 2029 as "35 years from now" and implying Judgment Day is "within three years" from T2's present. But those can easily be overlooked by Cameron forgetting to set the events another year ahead, accounting for Sarah's pregnancy.

Also, 1995-1997 means at LEAST 2+ years, probably a little more than two, which is "within three years" ;)

Yes, but that was regarding Dyson;s development of the chip. More events unfold in the T-800's account, before the bombs fall on Judgment Day. Even if the chip were finished and approved by January 1st of 1997, that's still less than 9 months from the war...and we all know how slow the Feds are with everything. The T-800 says a funding bill is passed for Skynet, and the system goes online August 4th. It becomes self-aware 25 days later, and the attack presumably began shortly afterward. So obviously, Cameron needed to put a little more thought into his narrative, before the other sequels abandoned it.

I always assumed her arrest for that happened much later. John was obviously with her throughout several years of his early life. He speaks of all the guys she was with during that time, training her and such. I figured the arrest was what landed her in the mental hospital and that was when John was taken away from her.

Yeah, 6 months to a year.

John talks about growing up around explosives, flying around in helicopters....

what if arnold actualy created the alloy terminators are made of and sets everything in motion. what if both melting in the same metal actualy created the superchip cause the liquid circuitry combined his and arnolds chip?

what if 46 000 clowns came out Pescadero state hospital and ate all of the nuclear weapons of the entire world.

What superchip? Liquid circuitry? Are you talking about the T-1000? The machine that is made up of so called nano-bots, millions of microscopic robots that on their own are pretty much harmless. Been watching too much of the stupidity they call Genisux.

And in case you missed it, mere seconds after Arnie's endo skull enters the molten steel at the end of T2, his system shuts down...due to the chip and entire Terminator melting and essentially being erased from existence.

You could have the smelting company find tiny parts of the T1000 Liquid/solid metal from when Arnold Froze/shot it and have the whole T1 cut ending over again.. "Hey Bill, have you ever seen this kind of metal before?.
And it turns out the company starts to researching how to replicate the metal and use the metal circuitry for government contracts like Supercomputers, weapons, bombs.....and Boom, we have the real T3 MOVIE!!
