60's, 70's and 80's TV show intros

Great...another thread to remind me how much I hate current TV. Thanks DS.

TV was an event back then. It was also made to keep families together. I don't know about all of you, but I watched more TV with my parents than I did anything else. Saturdays and Sunday nights were great, with all sorts of shows that made me dread bedtime.

Now all we get are stupid neon drenched CSI spin-offs, and gagging reality shows.

Anyone remember the fall season preview shows? Big extravaganzas on the upcoming season. Sneak peaks into dramas, comedies, Family and SATURDAY CARTOONS!!!

I'm right with you Bro! :thumbsup

There are maybe two shows on that I would make an effort to watch these days (Hell's Kitchen is one of them). Otherwise if it wasn't for the fact that my wife is addicted to reality shows, I would not watch cable tv at all. I'll take a dvd I've seen a million times any day over the crap they churn out currently.

The Sunday Night Movie was an event as well. I think my favourite was The Towering Inferno. :lol

Ahh... the good old days.

Think A - Team with a german shepherd instead of people, I can't believe I found this show so ethnralling...

Really, a dog bites a handler? I've been a K9 officer before and been bitten, it's not a big deal...

The entire state of Cali at any given time is nuts, so don't label the dog... lol

Ahhh - I needed that.

And as sad as this is not the original - nor is it even the original version they played on American Television (there were no credits over the images) it still is the original badly translated song - but, I grew up with it so the nostalgia is there.

Anyone remember LU-CAN? The guy who was raised by wolves and became a superhero? This is the funniest opening ever.
