Holy crap! Thank you for the tag @RiotJavelinDX ! I'm very impressed both by your build and by the fact that there is at least one other Bionic Commando fan in this forum! Great looking claw! Are you using mainly foam and PVC? I considered using the same hoses to fit in some LEDs like this as well but my claw was already clocking in at over 20 pounds so I didn't want to add any extra weight. Anyways great job! Looking forward for the finished deal! If you need/want the rest of the costume I can help you out with that.
By the way, I didn't know about a modern Bionic Commando game. I only played it on my Gameboy ... I mean the first big, grey, 4-batteries kind of Gameboy
Matrix2db Which "version" of the arm are you building? In your first post is one of the pre-release promo images. In later ones (and in the final game), there are vent holes in the upper forearm plate that you can kinda see here:
The "Bionic" logo looks pretty good... You might want to make the outer ring a bit thinner, and the last of the hexagons should align downwards with the other 4. Yours is kinda going off to the side.
I'd be really curious to see your elbow from the back. There should be a canister looking thing (I always call it the oil filter because it looks like one!). When the arm is extended it should hide in the bicep.
I couldn't find and good pics of the fsa logo so I skipped it I'm trying to replicate the promo image yea the logo on the shirt came out ruff rushing at the end of this project.
I am re-purposing my claw for a different character now so I am letting go of the rest of my costume. Let me know if you're interested in my shirt, pants, boots, side-arm, hand bandage and suspenders. I'll give you a good price. I have rasta wig too I can throw in. Message me if you're interested Great job on that claw!
