Snowspeeder concept

Was browsing through my The Making of the Empire Strikes Back book today. Haven’t really looked at it for years and came across this cool snowspeeder concept.
Wonder if anyone on here had ever built one.

I was looking at my Joe Johnston sketchbook today, and saw that one. It's the "modified Y-Wing" speeder concept.

Have one of those- nice little replica about 3" long. I sort of wished the Rebels had gone this route with the modified Y-Wing cockpit instead of the snowspeeders. While not as cool or dynamic looking it would emphasize the thinking of your feet and making the most of what you have available mentality of the rebels.

There was also a resin kit, 1:48, with a slightly different take on the same concept I have unbuilt in my closet of doom.
