Batman V Superman grapple PVC/foam build

Here I'll be logging the process of me recreating the grapple gun from dawn of justice out of PVC and foam this build by 13doctorwho http://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=259642 I h used for reference since he has done an excellent job modeling the grapple gun in all of its glory
feel free to leave any response or tips below

as I create threads before my projects takes off it may take a couple of days before you get actual build updates so stay tuned

Started to build the Main body of the Gun out of scrap plastic and tic-tac boxes all criticism accepted

Finnished thing minus silver paint job

I'm going to add the silver as soon as possible then you'll get more pics

Looks good. I think the silver will help the details stand out. If you paint the silver a wash of black really gives the prop some depth. Good work.
