Time for an early morning update! I was able to knock out a few things and others took longer than I had thought... Enjoy!
Mod'd the light bars to have a thinner mounting surface to be more screen accurate when backlit
Had to fix a small crack
Have to Mod the last two on the back wall (rt side)
The corridor walls are getting their share of attention - lots of details, filling and sanding!
All primed and ready to be adhered
I had to recut this side and then trim to fit
The two layers of MDF are adhered together then finally adhered to the corridor wall
LOTS of glue
The exposed side of the corridor will gets LOTS of filler and then paint. I'm not sure what color to paint it?

These panels are going really quick! Just having to wait for all the filler to dry
Bolt back into place and let the filler dry
Finally finished up the new Volvo Panel Greeblie Boxes

After 2 or 3 rounds of sanding, filling, sanding, filling, etc
Adhered the front piece
FINALLY! We can add some paint!

I then laser cut these painting templates for the foot well greeblie
And some new screens
I painted these two little greeblies as well
Using the template as a guide I marked out the area to be painted
Using bleed free painters tape I cut out the mask
Carefully applied the tape to the panel
Sprayed a simple tac layer (mist) and waited for it to dry before adding the next several layers (5-7 total layers)
Removed the bleed free tape...
Didn't bleed but it did remove a lot of paint... UGH
From a distance... COOL!
Broke out the tiny paint brush and cleaned up the edges
In the sunlight
Still need to add some pinstripes and silver greeblies
Those two new screens sit atop of the panel
I'll probably paint them either black or silver
I then adhered all the other little greeblies
Need to add screws to keep in place
Not quite finished yet!

Another 5-7 layers of light paint and then I removed the mask almost immediately after the final coat
Nice clean edges
I might add a black and red pin stripe to the edges to clean them up
Just a few more greeblies to go, weathering and pinstripes and this panel is done!
Lots of time off approaching so I'm hoping for some MAJOR progress! Stay Tuned!
