Greedo Blaster Discussion

Can anyone give me advice on the MK1? I bought an airsoft MK1 from KJWworks and the barrel doesn't match some of the other pictures that I am seeing here. Mine is too lathe to apply the Tom-*** part to. Is there a replacement barrel that is available or did I get the wrong gun?

Got my replacement barrel from shapeways. I also got a lot of other parts such as replacement rear sight. I had the mojo metal pieces but i opted to go with a 3D print that had all the other parts attached to reduced chances of pieces falling off after time and handling. See it (at parts) here: http://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=210211&page=3&p=3483038&viewfull=1#post3483038

Anyone in the EU who has a Idea where to get a nice Ruger? Deac, replica, or Softair?

You can get softair Rugers, even if the incorrect version with the bullbarrel and modern sight...but it´s a start.
I bought my two deactivated Rugers MANY years ago from private collectors.
Also own a KJW Ruger (gas operated), bought here in Germany a few years ago.

I wanted to see if I could spark the conversation for the greebles on the other side. I know some people have gone with the pontoon tomtit piece to match the other side but i do not buy that.

The piece(s) appears to be longer and has something flat on the outside.

Marv is the specialist, when it comes to vintage turntable ecquipment....but no, doesn´t resemble anything I am having in my parts boxes

The photos we have are just too blurry and low res for me to make any sense of them.

I'm sure once the parts are finally discovered, the blobs in the photos will magically become obvious, and we'll all wonder how we couldn't figure it out!

Though I will say, in this photo, the part circled slightly resembles the back side of the tomtit "pontoon".

Been looking at this image:

IMG_0501.JPG

Granted, it is small and it not very revealing to the actual details of the left side of the prop. However I feel it does lend some evidence that the greebles on both sides are not matching.

Definitely not the same on both sides, in the photo scottjua posted a few pages back you can see the basic shape of the mystery left-side part fairly well. Generally it appears to be a rectangular block shaped part with little round-ish pieces hanging off either side of it.
But sadly there's still too little reference showing that part well enough to identify it with any ease.. Even if we found something close enough, it would be hard to prove it's the same without a closer view of the part.

I wish the left side wasn't so rarely photographed!

And also a somewhat enhanced version of this cap:
