3P0 owners, HELP!

My Poor 3P0 has been finished for the last year, or or less, but he's in display shambles.

currently, he's on a pipe system, but it only works for his upper and lower body. his arms are IMPOSSIBLE to attach.. at least easily.

what are you using to d isplay him?

I'd love to make him look museum quality finally...

Have you looked into a flexible mannequin?
You can get a skinny one for about $150. covered in black velvet.

Pipe system plus cushion/upholstery foam shaped with duct tape should do the trick.

Pipe system has been holding up for over a year.

Just 45 degree bends on elbows instead of the 90 degrees pictured here. (where's the damn degree symbol on my phone!?)

D-rings attached to top of arms, hooks attached to tops of torso arm openings. Arms slide over pipes and hook on. Voila!

yeah...

I got the TK manaquin for my trooper, hoping that would fit, but the chest plate was too thick ...

yeah, that's what i have now. how does having them at an angle though make it any easier to attach?
i'm afriad of wrecking the arms trying to twist them in like that : (.


works perfectly for the upper and lower portion though.

I was able to twist mine on even with padding so should be easy enough without padding.
