I changed the title in hopes people will post pics of their Macros. A lot of Macro stuff here is older. Lets see em!!! cheers
Thanks to our own Cameron I have these
This was my forth attempt to own Macros and after having bought a set from Cameron like this, with the real working video camera but having had resin lenses, when it came time to try to build another set I decided I would go for all real parts. Having had to sell my previous Cameron set I was pretty sad about it and wondered if I would ever have another set. After several false starts and deals that did not go through I was finally able to secure the macro parts.
This set is all real parts with only the two unknown pieces, side box and rear triangle piece, being resin as they are still not identified. Everything else is real parts. The lens plate is Russ' incredible metal work and even the transition piece is metal.
Once I finally had the complete set I shipped the whole thing off to Cameron to work his magic. A while later this masterpiece arrived.
This set is so cool that when Cameron showed Mark Hamill a different set but built the same with a working video camera Mr. Hamill snatched it out of his hands and said. "No way!" as he played with the macros.
I cannot say enough good things about Cameron's work on these.
Since it's all real parts all the buttons and knobs turn and pull and twist. Lots of fun.
Without further delay:
